Information for Recent Graduates
Congratulations on your achievement! See below for some useful information for Pirate alums.
ECU Alumni Email and Accounts
ECU student email content automatically moves to the ecualumni email system after graduation, and the student email address changes to PirateID@ecualumni.ecu.edu. Log in to mymail.ecu.edu. Any future messages sent to the old student account will be resolved to the new alumni inbox. Remember to reconfigure your mobile email to the new address!
If you have files stored on your piratedrive, be sure to move them before your student email changes to the alumni address.
Student OneDrive storage will still be available and includes Web apps and mobile access. The student Office 365 ProPlus download license expires, and the full Office suite download on computers will no longer work. Alumni will need to buy a personal Office 365 subscription to download the full Office suite to a computer. Contact ITCS for additional questions.
Diplomas
Diplomas will be mailed 10-12 weeks after the graduation date. If a student has a hold on their record, the diploma will not be mailed.
The address to where a diploma is mailed is the address that was provided on the application for graduation. Likewise, the name that is printed on the diploma is the name that was entered on the application for graduation.
If you wish to change your address or name on your application for graduation, please contact the Office of the Registrar by email at regis@ecu.edu or call at 252-328-6525.
Diplomas are shipped through the United States Postal Service. It is important you provide a mailing address on your graduation application that reflects where you will be living two months after graduation rather than where you are currently living.
If you have not received your diploma and it has been twelve weeks since the date of graduation, please email regis@ecu.edu.
